Traditional Portrait Photography - Sharing Memories.

Welcome to my website. My name is Nigel Barklie, I live locally in Abingdon but for most of my thirty years working with photography I have commuted into central London. Now I am enjoying spending more time in our fantastic Oxfordshire.

I have a love of portraits and traditional photography. I know that there is a lasting beauty in a hand produced portrait. Most of all a portrait is something that you can just enjoy. Meeting people and creating a portrait with them has to be one of the best jobs in the world. With my editorial pictures it is important to make an image that grabs the reader. Working with individuals and families it is the creation of a beautiful and lasting portrait which matters, a picture which shares the memory.
